Clinician prescribed
Treatment remains anchored in clinical judgement.

About KineTech
KineTech was founded on a simple belief: effective treatment should not end when the patient leaves the clinic.
For people living with musculoskeletal conditions - including osteoarthritis - prescribed exercise is a cornerstone of care. Yet most of the treatment takes place at home, without the guidance, reassurance and clinical follow-up many patients need to continue with confidence.
This is the continuity gap KineTech was created to close.Treatment remains anchored in clinical judgement.
Guidance is available when exercises are performed.
Progress becomes objective insight for follow-up.
01 / THE CONTINUITY GAP
KineTech develops medical software that connects patients and clinicians throughout the rehabilitation journey.
Using an ordinary smartphone camera, our technology measures how prescribed exercises are performed and provides patients with real-time guidance. At the same time, clinicians gain objective insight into exercise quantity, quality, load and progress between consultations.
The result is not simply another exercise app. It is a clinician-integrated treatment platform designed to make home rehabilitation measurable, supported and connected.
02 / TECHNOLOGY WITH PURPOSE
Our technology combines computer vision, biomechanical analysis and clinical expertise to turn human movement into meaningful information.
KineTech’s patented approach applies anthropometric data to improve biomechanical analysis and enable more accurate assessment of exercise performance and physical load. This creates a stronger foundation for personalised guidance, informed clinical follow-up and more consistent treatment.
Technology is not the goal in itself. Its value lies in creating reassurance for patients, actionable insight for clinicians and a more scalable way to deliver high-quality care.
03 / WHY WE STARTED
KineTech grew from a shared ambition to combine technology, biomechanics and healthcare around a real and persistent problem: patients are prescribed effective treatment, but too often left to carry it out alone.
KineTech was founded in Oslo in 2022 by Kjell Heen, Andreas Heen and Aria Arziab.
Operations and development moved closer to our technology and clinical partners.
We work with healthcare providers and leading academic and clinical environments in Norway and Germany.
One interdisciplinary team
KineTech brings together the capabilities needed to move from an important clinical idea to regulated, scalable care.
04 / OUR AMBITION
By extending clinical support beyond the clinic, KineTech can help patients stay active, preserve function and maintain quality of life.
At the same time, healthcare providers can follow more patients effectively and direct their attention to those who need it most.
Our initial focus is osteoarthritis - one of the world’s most common and costly chronic conditions. From this foundation, our ambition is to establish a new standard for measurable and connected musculoskeletal care.
05 / FROM NORWAY TO EUROPE
KineTech is being developed and validated in close collaboration with Norwegian clinical and real-world environments.
Germany is our primary international market. Its strong focus on digital healthcare, structured reimbursement pathways and growing need for sustainable treatment models make it an ideal environment for introducing a clinician-integrated approach to digital rehabilitation.
Our regulatory pathway is built around certification as Class IIa medical device software under the European Medical Device Regulation.
Our purpose
To ensure that patients are not left alone with their treatment - and that clinicians do not lose sight of their patients when treatment moves home.
KineTech closes the continuity gap by connecting prescribed exercise, patient reassurance and clinical insight throughout the treatment journey.
